Philanthropist Darlington Chimezie Does Awesome Things in Imo

An Imo State based businessman has taken the bull by the horn by wearing his boots to tramp on poverty as well as investing in human capacity building in Imo state.

 

 

Chief Darlington Chimezie of Ndiokwu-Umuiyi Akabo in Ikeduru LGA of Imo State declared that he was going to do more for imolites through his Darlington Foundation while hosting what has been defined as the most expensive football tournament ever in Imo state.

The founder of Darlington Foundation has once again pulled the rubble off the feet of the poor and less privileged by taken actions that will ensure sufferings are alleviated.


The proactive CEO of Faith and Sons Realtors has gone out of his way to do good and the extraordinary.


Though not a political figure he has raised his purse in support of the Governor Rochas Okorocha Free Education Policy in Imo State by offering to pay the Junior Basic Certificate Entrance Exam fees of selected students of 4 Secondary Schools in Imo State.

The selected schools are: Imo Girls' Secondary School, Owerri; Akabo High School , Akabo, Ikeduru; Obazu Secondary School, Mbaitoli LGA; Amata Community Secondary School, Ikeduru all in Imo State.
Chief Chimezie has also impressed in his community where he has resolved to build a hall while donating boreholes across the neighbouring communities.


To create employment for youths in Imo State, he is at the verge of completing the construction of a modern poultry that will employ between 20-40 unemployed youths and help them cushion the effect of the recession.

The poultry is located at Mgbirichi where he has also provided a massive Security gate and eagle eyed security men to secure the community from intrusion of criminals.

In Imo State Darlington Foundation is a work in progress and has stood its ground as the most prominent and active non-political organisation.
